hello,

my name is anja schreiner and i am the founder and designer of schreinerdesign.

growing up in germany, in a very creative household, i always knew that i will work in any capacity of creative design. my mother is an artist and therefore i was surrounded by creative energy all my life. i guess some of her talents have rubbed off on me - thankfully.

but first i started off with a professional sports career; i am a world champion body builder and have worked as a live mc at sports events all over the world for many years. the sport of body building has taught me a lot of discipline in sticking with something which you really want and believe in. it also has given me a deep understanding and connection to my body. but it wasn't until i studied acting in hollywood that i discovered a deep spiritual side within me. after having worked as an actress for about 3 years i felt myself more drawn to all of those spiritual studies which i had started in. i was very involved in buddhism, red a lot of books by his holiness the dalai lama, went to all of his teachings whenever he traveled to los angeles and felt very connected to the energy field which surrounded him. this is where i found out that i can feel energies. this was also around the same time when i bought my first beads. i instantly felt a strong connection to the energy of the stones and liked their effect on my body and soul. this was around 1997, and that year everybody in my family and all my friends got necklaces for christmas. :-)

i went on to taking reiki level 1 and 2, to better get in touch with my abilities of energy healing. whenever

i would travel back to my little medieval home town in germany i felt a strong connection to that time period. so i started to study the cultures and customs of the dark ages. and this is when i felt that i have finally arrived. after reading countless pagan books, i know now that i am a witch. a witch to me is a person in touch with nature, feeling the energy in everything and using those abilities to heal oneself, others and the planet. we all have these abilities; you just have to find the right thing which triggers it for you. and to be a white witch is this thing for me. for me there are all kinds of witches all around us; some people are good with herbs and nutrition; others are great with tarot cards or runes. i have studied them all and find them all fulfilling but again, the thing that really does it for me is stones. i love how they heat up on your skin when you wear them, how the energy of a stone transfers over to your body or how a stone picks you when you just look at something on the internet or in a store.

i travel to many energy places like the tor in glastonbury england, the stone circle of stonehenge and the red rock vortexes of sedona in arizona to recharge so that i can stay in the flow of my connection with mother earth. it is this energy flow which fills me up with new creative potential. it is through this that i come up with new designs and collection ideas.

i am very blessed to have found what truly fulfills me and it would make me extremely happy to know that what i have created, under immense joy, is helping you in any way possible.
